Men are dogs. Settling for a deadbeat loser is like settling for a job you hate. What is it about non-ideal situations which makes us keep carrying on, doing nothing to change? In retrospect, every woman who has gone out with a deadbeat loser realizes the case.
This is utterly disappointing and ludicrous. You deserve to have someone love you back as much as you love them. Those who ask for promotions get promotions.

They had agreed to meet up after exchanging flirty chat via Facebook. Jobless Gavin Innes and year-old Gillian each had a pot of tea as they chatted, laughed and compared pictures of their respective kids. Gavin claims Gillian even pretended to be an office worker and only revealed her wealth on a second date weeks later, again over a cuppa. After hitting it off Gavin says they even talked about marriage just nine weeks into their six-month romance.
And Gavin claims Gillian is lonely and that her Euromillions jackpot win has not bought her happiness. He says she seemed happier spending time scoffing cake at his humble home rather than going back to her mansion. Following a CBS13 investigation , EDD is now acknowledging its own staff may be responsible for some of those date errors. However, the agency stopped short of saying it would automatically correct the errors for those who may be impacted. Some have evidence, their printed application, proving they entered their correct date when they filed for unemployment.
These date errors have become a common topic in the Facebook groups for people struggling with unemployment claims. Adding to their frustration, they all seem to have the same alleged typos. Almost everyone who contacted CBS13 had one of two specific incorrect claim dates — either April 19th or April 26th. But after our story aired and we heard from even more people with the same incorrect claim dates, we questioned EDD again.
Now, after one month, and more than 20 back and forth emails, EDD is finally acknowledging that EDD staff may be responsible for some of the incorrect dates. The agency clarified Friday that the system automatically sets the claim start date based on the week someone applies. Then staff is supposed to backdate each claim to the date on the application. In other words, when PUA applicants applied, the system automatically set their claim start dates based on the week they applied — which for most was the week of April 26 — the week the PUA application went live.
EDD staff was then supposed to physically backdate each of those claims to the date that the claimant had put on their application. In some cases, it appears, the EDD staff did not do that.

Long-term unemployment can be a debilitating experience, made worse by the self-loathing that compounds the problem. But while the consequences for those unemployed are well documented, there’s another casualty whose suffering is less frequently considered: the spouse. In an attempt to help their partners through what is a tumultuous time, these women endure substantial turmoil themselves.
The impact of male unemployement affects female partners too. Credit: Fairfax. A study published this month in the Journal of Marriage and Family provides a step towards understanding their emotions. The researcher conducted extensive interviews with husbands who lost their jobs and their wives who picked up the pieces.
